I offer affordable commercial web site work and graphic design through my Clackamas County web design studio. Beautiful Estacada, Oregon offers the just the right bit of energy in both its remote tranquility (45 minutes from Downtown Portland) and the constant reminder of nature's potential (Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Adams) to balance the artist within me.
My goal is to create a relationship with my clients to best understand their needs and goals to produce the most appropriate design project for their budget.
I currently use a Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 and Fireworks 8 for all of my web and design projects, however I am fluent in the use of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and am looking forward to stretching my wings a bit in the near future by using them as well.

Web Design:

Company Logos:
A web designer does more for a comapany's online image than anything else. Believe it or not, most of the impetus of designing can be taken from a company's logo. I have put together several logos for people over the years and each have offered a new challenge for me and my clients.
Print Ads:
I am often asked to produce advertisements for newspapers and magazines. These offer another unique challenge in that there is typically very little space to work with and too much information to share.
Business Cards:
Despite the growing social networking movement, everyone still need and use business cards. I have created several business cards over the years and these are my favorites.

Web Design:
I offer a basic web site package for $160.00(USD). It includes: 5 HTML web pages, Cascading Style Sheets for layout design and uniformity in style throughout the site and dynamic behavioral Javascript coding for the finishing touches and some navigation.
HTML:
HTML is the programming language of the web and it hasn't changed a whole lot since its release. In every project I try to utilize the basics of HTML while allowing CSS to affect the size, layout and overall design of the site.
Site content is the meat of the internet and it is added to websites through HTML, but this is the one aspect of web design that needs to be created by the owner/project manager. Having the text written and images designed the web designer can put a site together in a matter of a few hours instead spending sometimes days on product/company research and imaging to come up with the content.
CSS:
Cascading Style Sheets have become a standard design tool for the web since 1996 at their release and there is no better way to achieve an expressive design without CSS. Take a look at what this site would look like without CSS...[This page without CSS]...close the window to return here.
CSS affects the look of your web pages by dictating layout, fonts, colors, and some link behavior.
Scripting:
Javascript has become much more than first imagined thanks to Google whose nearly entire application base runs in Javascript scripts. I use Javascript to affect buttons, certain types of links, organizing form data and even creating calendars.
Typically, when Javascript is best integrated you don't even notice it.
Server Side Coding:
I use PHP to set up a contact systems for all of my web design projects.
My most extensive PHP coding to date was to create an ordering system for Creative Touch Embroidery.
Due to the quantity and quality of Content Management Systems (CSM) on the market I have opted out of working with database interaction using PHP. I can help you find one that fits your project and your pocket book.
Hosting and Domain Services:
As with all of my clients I also offer to help you find a hosting plan and domain name that best suits your project. This can be a very alien experience dealing with terms that you may not be familiar with and will gladly sit down with to explain them.
